Movie Review: Fast & Furious 6

Are you ready for another Fast and Furious ride? In May 2013, well, ready or not, they hit us with another one.

Directing this 130 minute action/crime/thriller is Justin Lin.

Putting the pedal to the metal in this sequel is: Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto, Michelle Rodriguez as Letty, Paul Walker as Brain O’Conner, Jordana Brewster as Mia, Dwayne Johnson as Hobbs, Tyrese Gibson as Roman, Sung Kang as Han, Gal Gadot as Gisele, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges as Tej, Gina Carano as Riley and Luke Evans as Shaw.

Up till now, Toretto’s crew has managed to avoid being caught by the law on every stretch of road they race down, but they would never guess what’s coming around the next curve. This time, the law’s not chasing them… it needs their help. A individual named Shaw, who is lethal behind the wheel, is on the streets and as
dangerous as he is, he just might be able give Toretto and his crew a run for their money. Yet, if they can pull this off, full pardons all around, which means no more running or hiding. You have to wonder, if they’ve made it this long without the pardons what else could tempt Toretto to risk everything to catch a guy he’s never met? The woman seen running with Shaw… Letty.

Usually after this many sequels, a title starts to fall apart (lets just pretend Tokyo Drift didn’t happen), not this one! They ripped out another cool storyline and pumped in some great stunts. Everything that has kept the title something great to watch and enjoy. It was awesome to see everyone make one more run together, and they did a great job while doing it.

It’s rated PG 13 for violence and language.

5 stars for this NOS fueled flick.
